Disease Not An Issue

According to the article below, it appears that U.S. Immigration is easing up on STD and HIV infected immigrants making it possible for lower lever infected people to immigrate to the U.S. The reasons are purely pragmatic and mechanical in the processing realm. Although seemingly dangerous, in this instance Obama may have a point. The cost of examining and processing these lower level diseases is not worth the added benefit but does block otherwise worthy individuals from being able to immigrate. The risks to society are minimal. It’s a judgement call but I don’t see making a federal case out of it.
